I’m 26 weeks out from the MS 150 in Texas and I want to train properly. What plan or plans do I need? I am a 61 year old rider who has been riding since June, and have been doing 5 hours a week with a 2-3 hour ride on the weekend. The course has lots of rolling hills and is 150 miles over 2 days. Also, I use a HR monitor at this time and not a power meter.

So Weights + Base (sweet spot part 1) then sweet spot part 2 = 26 weeks
You can do our plans with heart rate and I’d start with our ‘basic’ plan for the weights + base. Then try the intermediate because more riding = a faster you. Hope that helps - good luck!
