Training Plan Adjustment - SS1 -Wk 2


This Saturday I have to travel for family reasons, so I intend to reschedule my SS group ride for Sunday. However, this leaves me seeking advice as to whether I should backup my Thursday Zone 2, with another 2 hour Zone 2 ride on Friday (rest day day on Saturday) or whether there’s a better alternative?

Rescheduling plans around is tough because then you are always trying to play catch up or going into another workout more fatigued.

Yeah I would have you do your zone 2 days back to back. Since it is only zone 2 you should be ok. Plus Thursday is only a 60 minute ride. You can do your sweet spot ride on Sunday after a rest day. Hopefully its somewhat restful even though you won’t be riding.
