The week between Base/Race

What should the week between “Base” and “Race” look like?

I’m looking for some good rest, but I also want to keep the legs spinning to jump into an interval plan (which means a 20 min test coming up soon so want to be ready). Is it better to live in Z2 only for the week or ok to incorporate some short efforts too?

You could repeat your previous regeneration week from your base plan. That will help you stay rested but also feel sharp after the rest week with the few efforts thrown in.
