Climbing Data not recorded / Unrealistic Cadence

Good afternoon FasCat and Riders,

Hope you all well and safe

Can I kindly ask you how can I incorporate my climbing data into the Sweet Spot training? I am on week 5 and have zero Climbing data?
I am using Kickr 2018 with a Climb riser.

I am missing out on the efficiency of pedal force.
I am feeling that outdoor ride I would paddle slower 60/90 rpm where indoor it is 90/120
I am not sure if this realistic on a sustained 1-2 hours ride

Many thanks for your support

Best Regards
Lucsi

Hey @adlerlucsi, what app is this that you are using. Rouvy?

Hi
Thesis for the answer
It is GoldenCheetah
I tried few others including the TrainingPeaks same outcome

If you have any other recommendations much appreciated

Best regards

Are your rides being completed indoors? If so, some apps do not record elevation gain (e.g. wahoo, TR, etc). Also if you are just syncing your workouts to your headunit, elevation will not be calculated. You would have to use zwift to get elevation gain on indoor workouts. I believe rouvy should do the same, though I have not used it yet.

Many thanks for the reply
Yes, I am using Rouvy Workouts. When I used to use the Rouvy rides indeed was recording the elevation in the workouts or in the main app.
But since I am importing the FasCat training plan from TrainingPeaks “the daily workout” is never recording my elevation. The elevation is Zero. That’s mean the work intensity and the effort always less than they should be.
What can I try to rectify, please?

Best regards
Lucsi

I think that is an issue with Rouvy itself. It only records elevation gain whilst doing their AR type rides, not in the daily workouts that you import from trainingpeaks. This should have no effect on your workouts intensity or effort so long as you are putting out the prescribed power that is indicated in your workout.
Power is what impacts your TSS, not elevation gain.

Hi
Many thanks for the reply
I will have soon my Coach review and I hope the outcome/reading of my stats from his end will be productive.

Thank you again for your kind response

Best regards
Lucsi
