19 days to fill

First off this is great forum, and watching podcasts eats up trainer time. I’m 61 and will finish up weights and base 4/28 with a projected ctl of 50. May 17th is my first race in 41 years, there’s 19 days in between. Should I add 2 more weeks base/ weights or start another plan like ss3 right away.

Intervals @tomcaldwell9014 - you are leaving watts on the table if you omit intervals from your training. You are doing all the right training so far (weights then sweet spot base) but don’t neglect your high end.

What type of interval training plan depends on what you are training for: road, xc intervals, crits, time trials, races with climbing, etc…
