Weight lifting during Sweet Spot

Is weight training not suggested during Sweet Spot training?

I am in week 2 of sweet spot 1 multi-sport after completing the 10 multi-sport week strength program ( My 20 min FTP improved greatly!) and there is no weight training.

Is there a weight program or direction on when and what to do while I am sweet spotting? My next race isn’t until 5/31/20. I am already starting to miss the gym after only 1 week :man_shrugging:

We have all our athletes do gym work in the offseason with our resistance training plan. It’s a 10 week strength program that includes weights and on the bike strength workouts.

During sweet spot we have our athletes focus on sweet spot. You should still engage in your core, foundation work and yoga throughout the year that is in the plan.
