I’m doing a 2 hr SS group ride today and I still can not figure out how many minutes I need to do in SS to hit my TSS. Is there a simple formula I can use?
Both of these are great training tips that you will find helpful. As far as time in SS, it will vary depending on the group ride and how hard they are going. But on average, if you hold SS for the better part of an hour you can bank on getting ~50-60 tss per hour. Thus, a100 TSS ride should take you about 1.5-2 hours (lower end of that time frame if the group throws down some harder efforts).

If you have a garmin, you can put the TSS field on one screen.
