Hi. I had to cut my cyclocross season short. I started my off season weight lifting plans. Are there days when I can run instead of riding the bike? I was thinking on the days of weight lifting as a warm up? I’m trying to avoid spending too much time on the trainer.
Hey @remy.forgues - you could swap that out during your lifting plan as I know it is nice to change things up in the off season to prevent burnout.
That said, I would only do it 1-2 times per week (keeping it in endurance zone) as you really want to get in time in on the bike because remember, the goal of the weight lifting plan is to translate the strength gains from lifting to power gains on the bike .
