Missed a ride due sickness: should I modify this week

Hello there! I had to skip my 3 hour endurance ride today as I just felt like crap last night and this morning, and thought it was better to rest than ride.

So my question is should I modify any of my rides over the next 7 days to account for it, or just get on with the current plan as is (week 3 of SS1). Thanks!

If you are healthy get back on your plan as planned.

The urge to modify is natural but will jus cause problems downstream bc you won’t be able to recover.

I would add as a coach to identify why you felt like crap and what measures you can take to prevent that from happening as you try to #FtFP.

Thanks Frank for the super quick reply (on a weekend too!). I rarely if ever get sick and just had a random sore throat, sinus blocked up 36 hours. Will rest for a couple of days and hopefully feel strong to get back into the scheduled rides this week.
