I’m interested in thoughts on the effectiveness of heat training to prep for events at elevation. I think there are some studies that show it can help. Specifically, I’m think Z2 and SFR efforts on the training without a fan and in a thermal.
I can’t remember what podcast show it was (not sure fascat or FastTalk or what) that said there were some atheltes who struggled with altitude but used sauna instead. Also, they discussed people using heat to maintain altitude camp gains.
