Data repair from ride?

After uploading a 120km ride today, I noticed that my power meter dropped out for 54 minutes of a hard 120km, 4.5 hour Sweet Spot ride. :unamused:

According to training peaks my TSS for the ride was 215, which seems quite low. (I rode the same route at a similar pace for a 269TSS a month ago.)

I’ve become a real data nerd while trying to FTFP, so I’m wondering if I should up-date the TSS for this ride because I feel like I was going much harder that the .66 IF that it said I did during this 54 minutes?

I realize tan lines were long considered the most accurate measure of one’s chronic training load (CTL), so if I’m getting too hung up on these details, feel free to let me know too!

I would definitely edit the TSS to give yourself the credit. If you estimate the IF for the section of the ride , you can do the math:

IF^2 x duration (in hours)

Poof ! Then add that to the TSS already to TP

thank you!

The formula makes sense.
