Which SS After Weights and Base


Which is the best sweet spot plan to follow the weights and base (16wk) programme with? I was hoping to do one SS block after it, then the ‘Intervals for XC’ plan to peak for mtb season.

So the sweet spot plan that is included with weights and base is sweet spot 2. So the best option is to continue onto sweet spot 3! This is an advance aerobic plan that does introduce some high intensity which will help you be more prepared for the XC interval plan. Just remember to add a rest week after the weights plus base plan and before you start the XC plan. This way you start each plan fresh as they start with a 3 week build cycle.
