I’ve got an MTB race series that extends from early April to early May. I’m sweet spotting now, but am wondering what plan I should switch to and when.
If I go to MTB intervals, when should I start the plan? Or should I keep sweet spotting and do the in season intervals?
Short answer: 6 week prior to the beginning of your MTB season (April)
Longer Answer: depends on your goals, what your CTL is (how good is your base?) , how long have you been sweet spottin’, what are your weaknesses - endurance or 1 minute power (or both?!)
- those are the biggest parameters if you want to add more here. But in general 4-6 weeks prior to your season and/or first A race (in the season)
