Switching from Base to Race

Hello FasCat nation: since it is March and many of you will be racing soon it is time to Switch from Base to Race as we have described here

That’s means interval training.

What we want to help you with is to find more watts. In other words you don’t want to sweet spot year round. Switch - be content with your CTL and work on you VO2 , your threshold and your anaerobic capacity.

If you have less than 6 weeks till your next race choose the interval plan specific for the discipline you are targeting and go ‘full gas’!
