Robert rides -.sweet spot plan

Hi there

I’m on the sweet spot plan and I’d like to do the recovery rides, usually on the Monday. However I would have to do it on my 28 miles commute to and from work (at recovery speed about 2 hrs or slightly more). Is this a good idea or is this too long? Is there a certain tss I need to keep under on that kind of day.

Probably way to long no matter how easy you take it. You’d be better off served sleeping in longer and maybe a nap after work as opposed to extra time taking to do a bike commute on a rest day.
