Pre race food suggestions

I’m racing Boulder Roubaix tomorrow morning with a pretty early start
Say I don’t have the 3-4 hour window to properly eat before a short race and the race is a 1 lap 19 mile lap.

suggestions to fuel properly ?

Make tonight’s dinner your pre-race meal and then

have a light breakfast 1-3 hours before - don’t reinvent the wheel and experiment - do what you’ve done in the past. Banana? Small bowl of oatmeal? Energy bar?

You can also have a gel 15-20 minute pre-race to top off your glycogen stores and then 1 gel mid-way thru the race
