You could do a group ride for some fun intensity. Idea is to not do structured and get burnt out by always having something specific to do. Good to have those mental breaks in a plan.
However some athletes do just crave those very structured workouts that give them a goal and a target. Ideally choose a specific cross workout. Could do a practice start and then some 2 sets of CX 4 x 30 second ON / 30 seconds OFF Full Gas efforts.
But ideally you can find a group ride, or just ride a practice course with a few hot laps at race pace.
