Masters Recovery post altitude training “camp”

49 year old CAT 1 CX/MTB. 4 days of 2.5 to 3 hours of zone 2 at altitude during family vacation in Tahoe. It’s been a full week at home and my legs are still like lead. Ugh!!! Prior to this I went through a build plan and was going to start SSP4 given CX is likely being either pushed out or cancelled ( just purchased). Anyone have advice for a really motivated but seemingly cooked older athlete?

100% to be expected after a DIY training camp week. So Monday/Tuesday OFF for starters and then start your sweet spot part 4 plan Monday.

With all the riding you should be ready and able to crush some watts next week (once you’ve recovered)
