Hi, I’m currently doing the Weight Loss Meal Plan and the 16 Weeks do Sweet Spot.
Question: how long do you need to spend in Heart Rate Zone 2 to start burning fat? Would 30 minutes 3-4 mornings/week (indoors) be beneficial IN ADDITION TO the sweet spot training? Or do you need to be on Z2 for longer?
Hi @BigCat519 - I think if you stick to both plans you will lose weight and increase your watts.
I don’t think riding more in this case would help and it would actually hurt by making you more tired.
To answer your question: your body is always burning fat when you ride just at different ratios to carbohydrates with duration and intensity.
