Hello I’ve been following mostly a sweet spot plan and have raised my ftp about 30-40 watts since first starting back in December. Recently I’ve been doing Amex rides on the weekends and sometimes during the week when I try and get after Strava segments. I feel like it helps but also brings more fatigue. My question is how often would you recommend doing these rides? If you dip into v02 work and really get after it should you only do it once or twice a week and treat it as a race style simulation? Love the podcast.
Awesome @luketoppa - no doubt this style of training is hard and productive AND needs the appropriate amount of recovery.
That recovery is built into our the way we design our training plans. So in other words if you #FtFP you’ll be able to recover and keep getting faster.
